Coston Primary School

Coston is an inclusive and safe learning community that inspires us to achieve standards of excellence in all we think, say and do.

PSHEE

Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHEE) is an important area of our curriculum here at Coston Primary School. We teach PSHEE with an aim to develop children’s awareness of themselves, helping them to better communicate their thoughts and feelings. This, alongside our lessons and assemblies on British Values, prepares them for becoming grounded citizens within our society. PSHE lessons deal with real issues which affect children, their families and the community. It provides a safe space for children to discuss issues that are important to them.

At Coston Primary School, PSHEE also incorporates Healthy Schools and the aspect of keeping children healthy through different ways such as eating healthy lunches and exercising.

We are committed to the health, safety and well-being of all our children and adults.
